1. Core Policy Objectives & Philosophy
The objective of the Qynx Markets Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Financing of Terrorism (CFT) Policy is to prevent our platform, exchange liquidity, P2P network, and custodial infrastructure from being used to conceal or transfer the proceeds of criminal activity.
Our compliance architecture blends automated blockchain heuristic monitoring, biometric identity verification, and manual compliance audits conducted by certified anti-money laundering specialists (CAMS).
2. Tiered Customer Due Diligence (CDD) & KYC
Requires verified email address, phone OTP confirmation, and Google Authenticator 2FA enablement.
Requires government-issued Passport / National ID / Driving License scan and AI biometric liveness 3D facial verification.
Requires verified Proof of Address (utility bill / bank statement under 90 days), certified Source of Wealth (SOW), and corporate registry records if applicable.
3. Sanctions & Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) Screening
Every user is screened against real-time global sanctions databases, including:
- United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) SDN list.
- United Nations Security Council Sanctions Committees (UNSCR).
- European Union Consolidated Financial Sanctions List.
- United Kingdom HM Treasury & Interpol Red Notices.
Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), their immediate family members, and known close associates are subjected to rigorous Enhanced Due Diligence and continuous transaction oversight.
4. Real-Time Blockchain Intelligence & Anomaly Detection
All inbound and outbound blockchain deposits and withdrawals are analyzed using automated chain-analytics heuristics. Transactions originating from or terminating in the following will be immediately flagged and frozen:
- Decentralized crypto mixing services (e.g. Tornado Cash, ChipMixer).
- Known darknet marketplaces, malware/ransomware extortion addresses, or illicit drainers.
- Stolen fund clusters, hacked exchange hot wallets, or scam addresses.
- Rapid structuring (smurfing) transactions engineered to circumvent reporting thresholds.
5. Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) & Freezing Protocol
Where Qynx Markets identifies credible reasonable grounds to suspect funds are derived from unlawful activity, we maintain the statutory duty to file a formal Suspicious Activity Report (SAR / STR) with the competent financial intelligence unit (FIU).
In accordance with legal anti-tipping-off provisions, Qynx Markets is legally precluded from notifying the account holder regarding SAR filings or external government inquiry requests. Suspicious assets may remain frozen pending clearance from judicial authorities.
6. Record Retention Mandate
In compliance with international financial statutes, all KYC documentation, account ledger entries, transaction logs, and communications are preserved in immutable encrypted archives for a statutory minimum duration of seven (7) years following account termination.
